The Angle of view.

The brief for this exercise was to take between three and ten shots using a tripod if possible and either a selection of lenses or by adjusting the zoom.
I took three photographs the first at 70mm the second roughly midway on my zoom at 155mm and the last one the full length of the zoom at 300mm.
I then looked through a manifying glass to see if I could see any difference between the 70mm scene and the 300 mm one as I expected the only difference was  the size of the objects.

Well done busy as ever ! I think you should have kept say the blue umbrella in the same spot when you zoomed in and out. What you did is ok but it won't show the angle of view to you in such a comparable way . You would see different qualities in prints much easier than on screen where of course 72 -100 dpi is the best resolution you would get. Also with a zoom sharpness at wider aperture could affect quality as opposed to shooting at mid aperture for the lens.
Also the sea doesn't fun up hill ? when you use your tripod for shots with water in the water (unless a waterfall) is a good guide to what should be horizontal. You can use crop in photoshop to bring these square up but you will loose a little off the edges. Hope that helps.
